HP Garage 2.0: Singapore’s new AI innovation engine.
Last week, HP Garage 2.0 officially launched in Singapore. From the original founding garage spirit to the frontier of generative AI, HP is doubling down on practical AI innovation. With HP Garage 2.0, Singapore becomes a strategic hub for next-gen AI startups.
So much more than an accelerator.
HP is not just setting up an accelerator, but embedding itself in the creative journey by offering technical infrastructure, workspace, domain collaboration, mentors and market channels. This ecosystem support will help foster real-time feedback mechanisms on product fit and real-life use cases, hence shortening the learning journey for the first cohort of founders and giving them adequate time to iterate, validate and scale. Also, the choice of Singapore is a no-brainer with its strong tech base, pro-innovation policies, and HP’s long presence in Singapore. The Economic Development Board (EDB) of Singapore has framed HP Garage 2.0 as a key landmark in its support for innovation.
So, meet the first cohort.
These are the 10 forward-looking AI startups selected.
AIPath.one, Addlly AI, AdaptiveX, byteEDGE, ELGO AI, Menlo Research, Pints.ai, Sprouts.ai, TechPay.ai, Wubble.
These innovative startups will bring a transformation in their areas of expertise through
• Content & media workflows reimagined (e.g. generative music)
• Conversational automation integrated into operations
• Data + simulation becoming integral to strategy
• No-code AI enabling domain teams to build new tools
Each brings a unique value proposition, such as royalty-free music, strategy automation, explainable GenAI for regulated sectors, or local AI assistants.
This is truly an impressive ecosystem play with collaborators, including Antler, NVIDIA, Intel, AMD, Google, Qualcomm, EDB, IMDA, Enterprise Singapore, SGInnovate, TiE Singapore and The Generative Beings, among others.
Congratulations to the inaugural cohort! And Kudos to the HP and partner leaders who are enabling this future-proof thinking.
